Come watch some of the greatest classic rock acts in Canada at Spider Entertainment’s 3-day classic Rock Festival in Southern Alberta (TABER, AB to be exact)! This show involves internationally recognized artists that are truly Canadian Classic Rock ROYALTY, as well as showcasing local bands from Southern Alberta.

This year - Spider has changed up the schedule: Thursday will have bands from all over Southern Alberta and will end the night with a showcase from the Metal Queen: Lee Aaron! Friday and Saturday will each have three to four premier Canadian Classic Rock Bands each day!

This is an outdoor concert with no reserved seating, approved lawn chairs or blankets are recommended for seating. Wrist bands must be worn at all times. There are a limited number of camping spots next to the concert venue.

There will be food trucks and beer gardens on site, concert merch to be purchased, and some exciting things to be announced in the coming months!!

FAQ

What does it COST & how are the tickets structured?

**Tickets can be purchased as just a weekend pass (both General Admission or VIP) with no camping. OR if you are going to camp: all camping and tenting spots are purchased with one weekend general pass! If you require more tickets, then you simply add those to your cart! **

All Ticket Sales are FINAL. Please be aware of ticket scams. Tickets should ONLY be purchased through Spider Entertainment’s website which is partnered with Showpass. If you purchase a ticket from a third party, make sure tickets are transferred through Showpass to protect yourself!

**Ticket sales are limited to 10 weekend concert passes and 5 camping sites per person. **

Early-Bird 3-day WEEKEND Concert Pass General Admissions= 169.00 +taxes & fees (Does NOT include camping)

VIP 3-day Weekend Pass = $449.00+taxes & fees (Does NOT include camping. But it DOES include: private tent for VIP only, seating provided, private bar, private porta potties) VIP will be located near the stage off to the side of the venue so the tent does not block view for others. Tents are 20x20 and have a capacity of 30 people.

Note: if any of the full weekend camping passes are added to the cart, but you prefer VIP tickets - simply add the VIP ticket to your cart as well. The cost of the single weekend pass with your camping or tenting spot will be credited back to you.

Day passes may be offered closer to the event date. However, we are anticipating an early sell out of weekend passes which will impact the availability of day passes.

Other Accommodations? There are 4 hotels in Taber: Super 8, Heritage Inn, Econo Lodge, Taber Motel. There are 2 other campgrounds close by: Taber Trout Pond, and MD Campground. Vauxhall Lions Campground (20 mins away). Lethbridge is only 40 minutes west with many hotels.

Can concert passes be shared? No. Weekend passes can not be shared among several individuals. Each ticket holder will be provided one (removable only with cutting) wrist band that must be worn at all times to access the venue and camping areas.

What is the timeline each day? Please note: when purchasing tickets for Cornstock ‘24, you are not purchasing a ticket for a specific artist. Artists and schedules are subject to change without notice.

More about Camping?

  • -All camping/ tenting sites are NON SERVICED sites.

  • -Porta potties and non-potable water stations will be available throughout the camping areas.

  • -Camping is for 3 nights (July 25th - 27th) You MUST vacate the site before 4pm on July 28th.

  • -Camping is located at the Taber Legion Park (next door to the south), or Ken McDdonald Sports Park (next door to the north). All sites are within a 10 minute walk, but there will be shuttles available too.

  • -All camping spots are CHOSEN at purchase (you choose using a map).

  • -There are 3 different areas for camping:

    • -C1: Located in the Taber Legion Park (next door to the concert grounds to the south). This area is well treed with green grass, a playground on site, and will have porta potties on site for people who don’t have washrooms. There is also a dedicated entrance right onto the concert grounds from this venue.
    • -C2: Located within Ken McDonald Sports Park (next door to the concert grounds to the north). These areas will be on green grass, and some spots will have trees close by.
    • -C3: Located within Ken McDonald Sports Park (next door to the concert grounds to the north). These areas will be on the gravel parking areas.
  • -All camping sites will accommodate trailers / motor homes up to 40’ in length. If your unit is longer than 40’ you will need to choose the “Oversized” sites on the map.

  • -Each camping/ tenting site will be allowed ONE (1) vehicle on the site. Extra vehicles can be parking in the main parking lot.

  • -NO ATV’s / Golf Carts / Mopeds/ Bicycles/ Skateboards/ Scooters/ Hoverboards/ or any other similar device will be allowed with the exception of those permitted for handicap transportation.

  • -CORNSTOCK Camping areas are fenced/ closed off to general public. Therefore: wrist bands and vehicle passes must be shown at each checkpoint. You will not be permitted to enter the camping area without a weekend camping pass.

  • -CORNSTOCK takes pride in our image! Please keep your campsite clean and maintained. Failure to do so will result in a $300 clean-up fee charged to the campsite holder’s credit cared and/or eviction from the campground/ festival site and venue.

  • -Propane fires are permitted. However - all fires must be attended at all times. Please follow local fire bans.

  • -Generators will be allowed to operate between 8:00am to Midnight. If your generator makes excessive noise or creates fumes, you will be asked not to use it. We understand people have health related issues that require generators to run all night. In fairness to other campers, these generators must be of the “whisper quiet” make and not disturb other campers. Any non-compliance will result in eviction without refund.

  • -Cornstock is not an ideal weekend for your pets. If you do choose to bring your pet, they must remain at your campsite, leashed and always attended to.

IS THIS AN ALL AGES EVENT? Yes! This concert is an event for people of all ages. Children under the age of 10 are admitted for free when accompanied by an adult who holds a valid concert pass.

IS THIS EVENT ACCESSIBLE? Yes! This concert is an event for everyone. There will be dedicated accessibility drop-off, closer parking, and shuttle services are available to bring people from the parking area.

There will be a dedicated handicap seating area close to the stage. Assistance can be provided to help set up chairs.

WHAT AMMENITIES WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE CONCERT GROUNDS? We will have food trucks / food vendors, beer tents (run by a not-for-profit Taber Titans as a fundraiser), porta potties and hand wash stations, merch tent, 50/50 tent and roaming ticket sales, first aid tent, designated handi-cap sitting area, and anticipating some exciting new additions for Cornstock ‘24 that will be announced in the coming months!

Speaking of FOOD TRUCKS: If you would like to be a food truck / food vendor on site, please email EMILY at emily@spiderentertainment.ca to receive an application form. Note: we have LIMITED space for food trucks and are aiming to get all different menus. There is also a non-refundable fee for food trucks. Trucks must be prepared to serve up to 2,500 people / day for 3 days.

ARE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED? YES! The magnitude of this event is HUGE and many people will be required. If you would like to volunteer, please email KEN at ken@spiderentertainment.ca

Service groups are also welcome to be involved and provide services as a fundraiser. If interested, please email KEN at ken@spiderentertainment.ca

WILL THERE BE PARKING? Yes! Parking will be available, but it is limited. Please carpool when possible. Parking is FREE. Parking is located approximately 1/2km from the venue entrance. Cart shuttles will be available for those who are unable (or just choose not to) walk.

WHAT KIND OF CHAIR CAN I BRING? Concert approved chairs must be single person, collapsible, not recline or have protruding leg rests/coverings, or be oversized. Chairs not adhering to concert guidelines will not be permitted through the gates. Keep an eye out on our social media channels for further clarification as the concert approaches!

WHAT IF it rains? As the saying goes, “The show must go on!” The concert takes place rain or shine. Please check the weather prior to coming and if there’s a high chance of rain we suggest bringing a pocket-sized poncho and a sweatshirt or windbreaker.

Please note that severe weather conditions may temporarily interrupt some concerts/activities. We invite you to stay tuned to our social media for up-to-date information.

WHAT YOU CAN NOT BRING?

  • No outside drinks are permitted (only up to 1L of water in a factory sealed bottle)
  • No homemade food permitted (commercially sealed snacks only)
  • Glass containers or glass of any kind
  • Hard-sided coolers or wagons
  • Chairs that do not collapse, oversized chairs, couches, etc.
  • Umbrellas
  • Large banners or signs
  • Professional cameras, GoPros, selfie sticks, drones, or audio/video recording devices
  • Tents or pole structures of any kind
  • Pets (service animals only)
  • Frisbees, sports balls, beach balls, etc.
  • Weapons or anything that could resemble a weapon
  • Gang insignia, offensive signs/clothing, etc.
  • Noise makers, fireworks, laser pointers, pocket knives, tools or any other potentially harmful items

All guests and their belongings will be subject to search prior to entering the festival site. Security and concert Management reserves the right to refuse entry to persons and/or belongings at their discretion.

CANNABIS USE? Cannabis is prohibited within the concert area.
